JIM HOCKER
Jim has been a professional media writer and announcer for more than 30 years.
Currently he is senior writer and staff narrator for the American Payroll Association, producing projects in print and video. He also does freelance work for selected clients.
For six years, he was senior writer/producer of health news and information programs, as well as staff announcer, for Kaleidoscope Television, the cable network formerly known as America’s Disability Channel, the successor of the Silent Network. He also has many years of experience as writer and producer of TV news programs for various local network affiliates.
Over the years, he has scripted numerous video projects for various corporate clients, including Kodak and Qualex. His degree is in radio, television and film.
Jim makes his home in San Antonio, Texas. He has two adult children, Nick and Jasmin. In his rare free moments, Jim indulges his love of poetry.
